    • An handle type cyclone dust-collecting apparatus which is disposed at one side of an extension pipe of a vacuum cleaner. The handle type cyclone dust-collecting apparatus includes a connection body fluidly communicating with the extension pipe and having an air inlet port and an air outlet port, a dust-collecting casing detachably connected with the connection body, and a filter member disposed at the air outlet port to prevent dust particles from being flowing back to the air inlet port with air. The filter member includes a filter body and a conical skirt connected to a lower end of the filter body and having a cut-off part formed in a certain section thereof. A gap between a lower end of the skirt and an inner surface of the dust-collecting casing ranges from 4 mm to 6 mm.

    • Provided is a multi-cyclone apparatus for a vacuum cleaner with a high dust collection efficiency. The multi-cyclone apparatus has a primary cyclone separating a large-sized contaminant from air drawn in via an air inlet, a guide vane formed under the air inlet in the primary cyclone to increase a speed of air drawn into the primary cyclone, a primary contaminant receptacle collecting a contaminant separated by the primary cyclone, a plurality of secondary cyclones fluidly communicated with the primary cyclone to separate a fine contaminant from drawn-in air, and a secondary contaminant receptacle collecting the contaminant separated by the secondary cyclones.

    • The present invention is a cyclone dust collecting apparatus for a vacuum cleaner in which an air-whirling space and a contaminant collecting space are separated from each other. The cyclone dust collecting apparatus for the vacuum cleaner according to the present invention comprises a cyclone body connected to an extension tube; an inner cover provided at a lower side of the cyclone body, the inner cover having a hollow conical shape with an opened upper and lower ends; a grill unit through which the air is discharged, the grill unit being provided at a lower end of an air discharge tube of the cyclone body in the inner cover; and a contaminant receptacle for receiving a contaminant fallen from the inner cover, the contaminant receptacle being provided at a lower side of the inner cover.
