    • A sensor assembly for determining rotational angular displacement of a first moving component in a machine relative to a second component in the machine includes a base, a magnet housing, and a flexible member. The base is configured to be rigidly secured to the first moving component for movement therewith. The base defines a first axis of rotation. The magnet housing supports a sensor magnet and is rotatably received in the second component. The magnet housing defines a second axis of rotation. The flexible member has a first end rigidly secured to the magnet housing coaxially with the first axis of rotation. A second end of the flexible member is rigidly secured to the magnet housing coaxially with the second axis of rotation. A flexible body portion of the flexible member is capable of accommodating misalignment between the first and second axes of rotation.

    • A sealed bearing assembly (10) includes an outer ring (16) , an inner ring (12) , a plurality of rolling elements (28) , and an interference member (35) . The outer ring has an inwardly presented raceway (18) with a primary shoulder (24) at one axial end of the raceway and an outer ring portion (26) at the other axial end of the raceway. The inner ring is coaxial with the outer ring and has an outwardly presented raceway (14) with a primary shoulder (20) axially aligned with and radially within the outer ring portion (22) and an inner ring portion axially aligned with and radially within the primary shoulder of the outer ring. One of the inner ring portion and the outer ring portion includes an interference surface. The rolling elements are located in a circular row defined by the inwardly and the outwardly presented raceways and between the primary shoulders of the inner and outer rings . The interference member is engaged in a groove (36) in one of the interference surface and the primary shoulder that is axially aligned with the interference surface and projects therefrom to effect an interference between the interference surface and that primary shoulder to prevent the inner ring from being separated from the outer ring, thus unitizing the bearing assembly.
