摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurately measuring of radio activity while improving workability by providing a synthetic resin film with a plurality of bag-shaped parts opened on one hand, separation areas and the like to enable generation of a measuring sample by simple working. SOLUTION: A thin synthetic resin film 2 is thermally fused on one side of a thick synthetic resin film 1 and a number of bag-shaped parts 4 are formed with upper parts thereof made as openings 3. A separation area 5 is provided between bag-shaped parts 4 to divide the right and left bag-shaped parts while another separation area 6 is provided to divide the upper and lower bag-shaped parts 4. A bonding area 7 is provided near each opening of the bag-shaped parts 4 to allow thermal fusion. The use of a filter paper housing bag thus obtained eliminates the need for not only extra filter paper housing bags but also taking smeared filter papers after sampled out of the bag-shaped parts 4 thereby enabling measuring of radio activity with a container as intact. There is no need for an adhesive tape, synthetic resin sealing film, scissors and the like thereby achieving an omission of processes, a shortening of time and a reduction in cost.

This pattern bottom part is fixed to a lower pushing plate 27 through an outer bottom heat-insulating plate 25. SOLUTION: In this decontamination method of radioactive contaminant and a device thereof using magnetic oscillation processing, a magnetic polishing material impregnated with etchant and provided with strong polishing power is positioned in the part contaminated with a radioactive contaminant in an object to be decontaminated, and the contaminated part is strongly brushed and polished from the surface by changing the magnetic pole of the external magnetic field periodically. Because of synergistic effect of the brushing motion and the coexistent etchant of the magnetic polishing material on the contaminated part surface, even stubborn radioactive contaminant can be removed with high efficiency. A large-size contaminated object such as a steam generator in a pressurized water type nuclear reactor and stubborn contaminant, which are difficult to decontaminate according to a conventional method, can be efficiently decontaminated in this way.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of fuel inspections by reducing the burden of inspectors and, at the same time, to shorten the time required for the inspections by automatically measuring the gap between adjacent fuel rods by accurately detecting the edge positions of the fuel rods. SOLUTION: In a method for measuring fuel rod gap, the horizontal distribution data of luminance 1 at an arbitrary height are obtained from the picture taken with a television camera and the edge position of each fuel rod is specified from the peaks P1 and P2 of the differentiated values 2 of the distribution data. Then the fluctuation of the differentiated values 2 by the luminance unevenness of the fuel rods is suppressed by dividing the differentiated values 2 by the luminance 1 and the one-side edge positions of the fuel rods are found from either the positive or negative peaks 3 of the quotients of the differentiated values 2 divided by the luminance 1. Then the gap between adjacent fuel rods is measured by subtracting the outside diameter of one fuel rod from the distance between the adjacent edges of the fuel rods.
