The graphite film shows, in a Raman spectroscopic analysis using a laser light source with a wavelength of 514.5 nm and a spot diameter of 1 μm, peaks of scattered light, of which 1) a peak (P2) located in the vicinity of 1,580 cm−1 is greater than a peak (P1) located in the vicinity of 1,335 cm−1 or 2) the half-width of a peak (P1) located in the vicinity of 1,335 cm−1 is not greater than 150 cm−1.

摘要： An electron emitting device includes a pair of device electrodes disposed at locations opposite to each other, a conductive thin film in contact with both the pair of device electrodes, and an electron emitting region formed in a part of the conductive thin film. The conductive thin film is composed of fine particles including a first metal element serving as a main constituent element and at least one second metal element. The second metal element is to precipitate at the surface of the conductive thin film and thus form a low work function material layer. When a voltage is applied between the pair of device electrodes, the second metal element moves from the inside of the conductive thin film to at least a part of the surface of the conductive thin film.

摘要： A communication system includes: an image forming unit connected to a communication line through a communication control unit; and a management unit for managing data of resources of the image forming unit, the management unit being connected to the communication line, the image forming unit including: at least one component part; a first storage part for storing a control program for the component part, so that the component part is controlled in accordance with the control program; and a first control part for transmitting a first code to the management unit via the communication line in response to an update request signal, the first code indicating a model of the image forming unit and indicating a type of the component part, the management unit including: a second storage part for storing a plurality of control programs for different types of the component part of the image forming unit; and a second control part for reading out a first control program from the second storage part in accordance with the first code received from the first control part, and for transmitting the first control program to the image forming unit via the communication line, so that the first control program is stored in the first storage part.

摘要： A multistage paper feeding/conveying apparatus has a plurality of recording paper storing devices vertically arranged at multiple stages; a paper feeder for feeding a sheet of recording paper one by one from arbitrary one of the recording paper storing devices; and a vertical conveyer vertically extending and opposed to a paper feeding side of each of the recording paper storing devices. The vertical conveyer conveys the sheet of recording paper fed from the paper feeder to a paper receiving section of an image forming apparatus. The paper feeder has a single paper feeding unit which can selectively come in contact with a front end portion of an uppermost sheet of recording paper on an upper face thereof with respect to sheets of recording paper stored within the plural recording paper storing devices. The paper feeding unit and the vertical conveyer have a single endless conveying belt and a device for forming an electric charge pattern for adsorbing the sheet of recording paper to the endless belt. A method for feeding the recording paper is also shown.
