摘要： A method of CO 2 release from a CO 2 -rich capture material and capturing CO 2 by contacting a CO 2 -containing gas and a CO 2 capture material to produce a CO 2 -rich capture material. The CO 2 -rich capture material is mixed with a metal oxide; and CO 2 is released by reacting the metal oxide with a fuel in the presence of the CO 2 -rich capture material to produce a CO 2 -deplete capture material, the metal and gaseous CO 2 . The CO 2 -deplete capture material may then be recycled to the capture step and used as the CO 2 capture material. An apparatus for the CO 2 capture and CO 2 release is also disclosed.

摘要： Methods and kits are provided for manipulating and predicting the reproductive capacity of a female subject. The presence of endogenous neurotrophins and addition of exogenous neurotrophins, particularly BDNF, NT-4/5, and NGF, increase the reproductive capacity of a female patient by binding to receptors on the oocytes and stimulating maturation of the oocytes. Administration of antagonists act as a contraceptive because the antagonists prevent the neurotrophins from binding to oocyte receptors. Neurotrophins may also be used to stimulate the maturation of oocyte in vitro.
