Non - metallic hollowware; bottoms.-A liquid-tight carton of waterproofed paper &c., of conical or cylindrical shape, closed at one end, has the other or wider end sealed by the application thereto of a cap comprising a disc portion and a flange which extends both above and below the plane of the disc, the open end of the carton being turned or folded down over the cap flange to form a reinforced supporting rim for the container when filled and reversed. Fig. 2 shows a cap comprising two flanged discs A, B, arranged back to back, supported on a shoulder C of a carton the end C of which is folded over the flange of the outer disc as shown on the left-hand side of the Figure. Fig. 3 shows a similar construction in which the shoulder is replaced by an indentation D', and Fig. 4 a form in which a reinforcing disc E is interposed between the flanged discs, the flange of the outer disc being in this form made deeper and folded over together with the end of the carton to form the rim. Fig. 6. shows a construction where a single disc G with a flange G , G , doubled on itself, is employed.

The upper part 11 of the neck is slightly tapered. The neck and the lid flange may, as shown, have interengaging means such as projections 16 adapted to take into bayonet-slot depressions 17, or the lid may be applied by screw or similar action. Specifications 133 894 and 152,446, [both in Class 18, Boxes &c.], are referred to.

Capsules and the like, applying. - Relates to bias for paper pulp or like cartons of the type described in the parent Specification and consists in serrating, corrugating or crimping the lids around the rims of cartons bottles &c., so as to make the lower portions of the lids of smaller diameter. By this means a more effective sealing is obtained and if the lid of a carton &c. is removed and replaced, the flattened rim will indicate the fact. A suitable crimping tool comprises an annular member 3 having a series of pivotally mounted inwardly projecting fingers 6 which are actuated by a cam-block 7 slida.blv mounted in the cover portion 8. The tool is pressed downwards on to the lid 1 to effect the crimping.

摘要： A memory module electrical connector is comprised of an insulative housing and a plurality of electrical terminals. The terminals are stamped and formed from conductive material to include resilient contact portions for interconnection to the module, and compliant pin portions for interconnection to the printed circuit board. The compliant pin portions of the connector are laterally staggered, with some compliant pin portions being positioned adjacent to a slot in the housing for receiving the memory module, and alternate contacts are positioned distant from the slot, thereby staggering the compliant pin portions. The compliant pin sections include an upstanding, rigidifying section to rigidify the compliant pin portion during the insertion of the electrical connector and the plurality of compliant pin portions into the printed circuit board.
