The endoscopic illumination tester includes an optical bridge that is removably interlockable with the lightsource. The endoscopic illumination tester includes an integrating sphere that is removably interlockable with the optical bridge. The endoscopic illumination tester may further engage a lightguide connectable between the optical bridge and the lightsource. An endoscope may be inserted between the optical bridge and the integrating sphere.

摘要： Endodiagnostic apparatus and methods by which infrared emissions of 2 micrometers and above may be visualized in the form of encoded images to permit differential analysis. The endoscopic apparatus comprises a refractive objective lens for forming a real image of interior structure of interest, a relay system consisting solely of refractive elements for transferring the real image to an intermediate plane conjugate to the objective image plane, a refracting coupling lens for forming a final image of the intermediate image in a detector plane in which an IR detector sensitive in the range of 2 micrometers and greater may be placed near the proximal end of the apparatus, and a warm stop for ameliorating the effects of stray IR radiation in the system.

摘要： A relay lens system to be incorporated in an endoscopic optical assembly is provided. The relay lens system includes at least one relay lens module for relaying an image between successive image planes. The relay lens module consists of two identical optical assemblies arranged in bilateral symmetrical relation relative to a median plane disposed between the two assemblies. Each optical assembly includes a glass plano cylinder and first and second curved lens components attached to each end of the plano cylinder. The lenses forming the lens components are fabricated from different optical materials including polymeric materials to correct aberrations within the system. The physical and geometrical characteristics of the components are selected to effectively transfer a bright image to the viewer.

The single image sensing chip may be placed at various orientations with respect to the lens trains in the optical paths. In other embodiments one prism is used to turn the light for the right side image and another prism is used to turn the light for the left side image, and the reflective surfaces of the two prisms are substantially coplanar such that the right side and left side images are incident on the single image sensor chip.
