摘要： 254,179. Larner, D. Dec. 2, 1925. Casting-machines; metal-pouring.-In casting steel the metal is delivered from the ladle 11 to a number of moulds 10 simultaneously while protected from air. The ladle 11 is jointed by an asbestos washer 16 to a vertical tube 14 having a number of radial communicating tubes 19 corresponding to the number of the moulds 10. The tubes are lined with brick 15 and the radial tubes carry covers 22 adapted to be jointed bv asbestos 23 to the moulds. The tubes and moulds are evacuated by fans 24 mounted on the covers 22 or by external means connected to the tubes 26 which are provided with dampers 27.

Bitmapped ink images are converted to structured object representations of the bitmapped images, which may be read and edited by a structured text/graphics editor. The structured object representations correlate to perceptually salient areas of the bitmapped images. The structured object representations are editable by the structured text/graphics editor to allow a user to generate alternative interpretations of the bitmapped images.

摘要： Various implementations provide for a task as the method that describes a spatial computing application by providing an abstract task graph (ATaG) wherein the abstract task graph specifies the behavior of the application without reference to the number, placement and connectivity of the nodes performing the application and the tasks are automatically mapped to the network. The ATaG specifies a set of tasks, a set of data objects and a set channels, including various constraints and preferences on where in the network tasks may be performed, how data is moved between locations and the data required at various locations. Moreover, various implementations provide for a task assignment system which maps the abstract tasks and channels to specific nodes and communication links, either at the time of the construction of the system or throughout the time of its operation.

摘要： An apparatus for performing electrodialysis at pressures greater than or equal to the ambient pressure is described. The apparatus includes an electrodialysis membrane stack and housing. The electrodialysis membrane stack includes at least one electrodialysis cell. The electrodialysis apparatus includes electrodes that apply voltage across the electrodialysis stack. The housing pressurizes the electrodialysis stack at a stack pressure. The housing includes a cell chamber that receives the electrodialysis stack, the cell chamber including at least one pressurization port communicating with the cell chamber such that a portion of electrode solution is transmittable into a region of the cell chamber outside the electrodialysis stack. A system for performing electrodialysis at pressures greater than ambient pressure includes at least two solution loops, an electrode solution loop, and an electrodialysis apparatus operatively connected to the solution and electrode solution loops that performs electrodialysis at a stack pressure that is greater than ambient pressure.
