The method of the present invention includes: when a WPS button on the wireless Repeater device is activated, establishing the connection between the Client side of the Repeater device and an uplink AP device firstly, and obtaining the wireless configuration information of the uplink AP device; and synchronizing the wireless configuration information to the AP side of the Repeater device, and then establishing the connection between the AP side of the Repeater device and a Station (STA) device. The present invention is mainly used for the process of Repeater WPS connections.

The method of the present invention comprises generating a recommendation model based on aggregate activity generated though use of a network resource. A user profile is generated based on an individual user's interaction with said network resource. A user query is received and the previously generated recommendation model in combination with the previously generated user profile are utilized to provide a recommendation relevant to the user search query and global statistics.
