摘要： The present invention relates to a method, apparatus, and system for data transmission based on a DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) network that classifies contents files which are stored in a DMS according to a support of the DLNA network to make a contents list. Support is provided to convert a file attribute of a selected file into a file attribute which can be applied to the DLNA network to generate, in case a user selects a non-supported file which is not applied to the DLNA network. The invention outputs the selected file to a display unit, captures the outputted image to convert into a file which can be applied to the DLNA network.

摘要： A method for sharing a file between a control point and a media server in a DLNA system, and a system thereof are provided, in which the control point captures a photo, determines a similarity between a facial image included in the captured photo and a facial image file corresponding to at least one media server, compares the similarity with a pre-stored value, and if the similarity is greater than or equal to the pre-stored value, transmits a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) representing a position at which the photo is stored to the media server, and the media server accesses the URI received from the control point and receives the photo using the URI.

摘要： A method for updating contents of a Digital Media Server (DMS) in a digital living network alliance system (DLNA) is disclosed. An update process is performed through a periodic update event in a Digital Media Player (DMP) that receives all content information of the DMS. Upon determining that information loss has occurred in the update process, the DMP sends to the DMS a request for information about a list of items possessed by the DMS. The DMP receives the requested information about the list of items and compares the received information about the list of items with information about pre-stored items to obtain a comparison result. When a difference occurs as the comparison result, all information about contents of the DMS is obtained through a browse action. When the difference does not occur as the comparison result, the update process is continuously performed.
