摘要： The present invention relates to a novel process for producing ceramic materials, in particular refractory materials having a reduced relative density. In particular, the invention relates to a process for producing light, refractory materials having non-contiguous pores based on shaped and unshaped materials. These materials can be used as working lining in high-temperature applications. The process is based on the production of spherical, closed and isolated pores in the microstructure of the material. The pores having a pore diameter which can be set in a targeted manner are generated by use of polymer particles, in particular polymethacrylates, in particular polymers or copolymers prepared by means of suspension polymerization, as pore formers which can be burnt out. The polymers or copolymers are present in the form of small spheres having a defined diameter. The introduction of isolated spherical pores allows the production of ceramic materials having a sometimes significantly reduced relative density and improved corrosion resistance and better mechanical strength compared to the prior art. The specific, closed pore system at the same time contributes to reducing the thermal conductivity of the ceramic materials. In addition, the novel process has the advantage that there is no risk of formation of undesirable black cores, even in the production of thick-walled ceramic products.

摘要： A shaped metal fixed-bed catalyst is disclosed which contains at least one catalyst alloy formed of a catalyst metal and an extractable alloying component. The catalyst is activated in an outer layer with a thickness of 0.1 to 2.0 mm starting from the surface by complete or partial extraction of the extractable alloying component. The catalyst may also contain promoters. The catalyst is distinguished from known catalyst in that it is formed exclusively of the catalyst alloy and has a total pore volume of 0.1 to 0.6 ml/g. The catalyst is used for hydrogenation, dehydrogenation and hydrogenolysis reactions.

摘要： A hand-held nibbling machine has a manipulatable housing containing a motor and a transmission assembly for converting rotary motion to reciprocating linear motion. A tool assembly includes a housing portion, a ram reciprocatable in a passage in the housing portion, a base portion with a die support for supporting a die in spaced relationship to the adjacent end of the housing portion, and a neck portion between the housing and base portions providing a throat into which a workpiece may extend. Disengageable ram attachment elements are provided for securing the ram to the output coupling, and disengageable housing attachment elements are provided to secure the housing portion of the tool assembly to the manipulatable housing. An extension assembly is interposed between the tool assembly and manipulatable housing and is operative to transmit reciprocal motion from the output coupling to the ram of the tool assembly, and it comprises an elongated sleeve providing a passage therethrough and a shaft reciprocable therewithin. One end of the sleeve is engageable with the housing attachment means of the manipulatable housing, and the opposite end thereof has second housing attachment means engaged with the housing portion of the tool mounting assembly. The end of the shaft adjacent the coupling is engaged therewith by the ram attachment element and the opposite end thereof has a second ram attachment element engaged with the ram, whereby the tool assembly may be alternately mounted directly upon the manipulatable housing by disassembling the extension assembly from the tool assembly.

The uniformity of the heat transition coefficient is obtained by increasing the distance between the window panes and the heat resistance in the edge region of the window is matched to that in the region of the window area which is undisturbed by the edge. The edge region is formed by a frame which has a pair of separate metallic frame members which are joined together and spaced apart by non-metallic webs so as to define an insulation path of at least 0.8 times the clearance between the panes.

摘要： The present invention comprises a single-component binder for heat-sealing applications which can be used for the sealing of polyester foils, in particular of polyethylene terephthalate foils (PET foils) with respect to containers made of polystyrene, of PVC, and of polyester. These polyesters can in particular be polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polylactic acid (PLA). The binders here feature not only good seal seam strengths but also in particular good transparency and excellent application properties. A substantive aspect of the invention is that the sealing can be achieved without addition of adhesion promoters, in particular without addition of adhesion promoters based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or on polyester, and that barrier properties and sealing properties achieved in respect of containers made of PS and of PET are nevertheless at least comparable with, and sometimes better than, those achieved with heat-sealing systems already marketed.
