摘要： The arc-welding monitor has a weld power supply, units for generating signals proportional to welding current and voltage, an audio-signal generator, welding current and voltage comparators and a monitoring sequence logic analyzer having a signal switch responsive to variations of monitored quantities, which is connected to the outputs of said welding current and voltage comparators, a signal switch responsive to incremental changes in monitored parameters, and welding current and voltage adders. One input of each adder is connected to the outputs of said units for generating signals proportional to welding current and voltage, respectively, while the second input of each adder is combined with the input of the corresponding comparator, the outputs thereof being connected to the inputs of the signal switch responsive to incremental changes in monitored parameters.

摘要： The machine of the invention, intended for resistance butt welding of pipes, comprises two semi-housings mounted externally on the pipes to be welded to the opposite sides of a joint and interconnected by the flash and upset drive, a clamping device mounted in each semihousing, including radially arranged hydraulic cylinders with clamping shoes, and a control system of the hydraulic cylinders.The control system of the hydraulic cylinders includes control valve units structurally associated with the piston rods of the hydraulic cylinders. The control valve units include follow-up spool valves interconnected by their common actuator linkage.

摘要： The method consists in that a flat work in an initial position is oriented horizontally between cooled mold beams. Plasma torches are arranged in line across the parallel side edges so that the anode spots of the extreme torches are confined by said edges of the work. By supplying a plasma forming gas and electric current to the plasma torches the work is heated with the formation of a metal pool which extends across the work from edge to edge. By relatively moving the work and the plasma torches in a horizontal plane and along the edges of the work movement of the metal pool over the surface thereof is effected and thereby a remelted layer as thick as the pool is deep, is obtained. The apparatus for carrying out the method comprises a sealed chamber containing a mold having two beams arranged in a horizontal plane and being parallel to one another. Installed in the chamber are plasma torches mounted on shafts and connected through supply lines with the sources of plasma forming gas, electric current and cooling water. Each of the shafts is journalled in a sealing bush installed in the wall of the sealed chamber so that the axis of the shaft is parallel to the beams. Each shaft is rotatively driven by a drive. The apparatus further comprises a drive for relatively moving the work and the shafts in the plane parallel to the beams, connected with at least one of the elements taking part in such movement. The practice of the method with the help of the apparatus of the invention permits a high-quality work of a predetermined macrostructure of a surface layer, to be produced at a higher rate of treatment.

摘要： A method and apparatus for welding girth joints in pipelines using two welding heads comprises the steps of moving each of the welding heads upwards around the pipeline along the respective section of the girth joint, feeding a welding wire to each of the welding heads so that the welding wire is fed substantially tangentially with respect to the surface of the pipe, and forming a circumferential weld by moulding it to hold the molten metal of the welding bath in the welding zone. An apparatus for carrying out the method for welding girth joints in pipelines comprises an annular track structure having at least two carriages mounted thereon which are connected with drives adapted to impart a translatory motion to the carriages. Each of the carriages carries a welding head provided with a welding wire feeder and a weld moulding member arranged opposite to the joint being welded. The welding wire feeder includes a guiding nozzle extending under the weld moulding member, with its axis being oriented tangentially to the surface of the pipe to feed the welding wire into the welding zone through the groove of the joint.

摘要： The doughnut-type transformer comprises a spirally wound core consisting of several individual annular cores each tightened by rod members. The annular core is surrounded by transformer sections comprising the primary and the secondary windings. Each winding is composed of turns shaped as sectors in the plane of the transformer cross-section, a cooled turn of the secondary winding being placed between the turns of the primary winding in each transformer section. The turns of the windings surround the annular core so that the geometric center of each winding is displaced from the geometric center of the annular core in the cross-sectional plane thereof and the geometric center of the annular core is farther from the transformer axis. Each turn of the secondary winding is provided with a passage for cooling water to circulate therethrough, which water being supplied and discharged through one and the same contact ring and is first cooling one half of the whole number of the transformer sections and then the other half.

The power circuit control unit acts on the power circuit to permit the welding arc to be fed a current the variation of which can be represented as a sum curve of a direct current component and a periodic curve, having its leading edge rising approximately linearly and its trailing edge falling approximately exponentially.
