摘要： A method for generating data for driving a display panel is provided in which first compensation data of (N+k) bits, corresponding to grayscale data of N bits, is generated, wherein values of N and k are natural numbers. A first gamma curve is applied to the first compensation data of (N+k) bits. Second compensation data of (N+k) bits, corresponding to the grayscale data of N bits, is generated. A second gamma curve is applied to the second compensation data of (N+k) bits. The first compensation data or the second compensation data are selectively output and converted into analog data signals. The analog data signals are output to a data line. Accordingly, the first compensation data and second compensation data includes a multidomain structure which improves display quality. A data driving circuit and a display device including the data driving circuit for performing the method are also provided.

The display includes a signal transmitter, and is configured to alternately display a left eye image and a right eye image. The polarization switching panel includes a signal receiver, an upper substrate, an upper electrode disposed on the upper substrate, a lower substrate, and a lower electrode disposed on the lower substrate. The signal transmitter and the signal receiver are synchronized by a 3D synchronization signal.

摘要： A liquid crystal display system including a signal processing device uses interpolation to generate an intermediate image frame using previous image frame data and present image frame data. The system converts data of the intermediate image frame into transposed image data that is to be used to drive a liquid crystal display panel and display a corresponding image. The transposed image data and the present image data are subjected to a prespecified DCC process (dynamic capacitance compensation process) to thereby generate respective first and second compensation image data. Since the first compensation image data is generated based on the transposed image data and the transposition is configured to prevent over-compensation by the DCC process, over-compensation by the dynamic capacitance compensation process can be reduced or prevented.

摘要： In a 3D image display device and a driving method thereof, a left-eye image and a right-eye image are displayed at a 3D display frequency higher than a 2D display frequency in a 3D mode. The left-eye image or the right-eye image is applied to a data line as data voltages having the same polarity and the same magnitude throughout at least two consecutive frames. A gate-on voltage is applied to a plurality of gate lines crossing the data line sequentially at an interval of a compensation gate-on application time calculated based on a total data delay value.

摘要： In an interpolation device that is used for driving a liquid crystal display (LCD), a memory stores an image signal representing a previously displayed image frame. A look-up table (LUT) stores plural reference data corresponding to differences between values of high order bits of a present image signal and a previous image signal. An arithmetic unit receives low order bits of the present image signal, low order bits of the previous image signal, and the reference data from the LUT to output a corrected image signal. The arithmetic unit applies a first second-order interpolation equation when the high order bits of the present image signal are identical to the high order bits of the previous image signal and applies a second second-order interpolation equation, which is different from the first second-order interpolation equation, when the high order bits of the present image signal are different from the high order bits of the previous image signal.
