摘要： The present invention is directed to method of using a collection of monomers capable of forming multimers as a fluorescence reporter in different applications such as ligand detection/screening, disease diagnosis, drug discovery or screening, fluorescent labeling and imaging, or other fluorescent methodologies. Each monomer in the collection includes one or more ligand elements useful for binding to a target molecule with a dissociation constant of less than 300 μΜ and a linker element connected to the ligand elements directly or indirectly through a connector. Association of linker elements of different combinations of monomers, with their ligand elements bound to the target molecule to form a multimer, will generate a unique fluorescent signature different from that produced by those monomers either alone or in association with each other in the absence of the target molecule, when subjected to electromagnetic excitement.

The fastener includes a fastener (12) having a head (16), a shank and a penetrating tip. The head (16) has a diameter and the shank has a diameter less than the head diameter. The stucco fastener has a sealing/spacer assembly (14) having a spacer element (18) and a sealing element (20). The spacer element (18) is formed from a relatively incompressible material and has a diameter greater than the shank diameter. A plurality of rows of deformations formed as teeth are formed in the shank extending outwardly of the shank. 摘要： The invention relates to the identification and use of gene expression profiles with clinical relevance to the treatment of cellular proliferative disorders, especially those mediated by aberrant Notch signaling using a Notch signaling inhibitor. In particular, the invention provides the identities of genes, whose individual or cumulative expression patterns may be useful in various assays. The gene expression profiles, whether embodied in nucleic acid expression, protein expression, or other expression formats, may be used to select subjects afflicted with a Notch mediated cancer who will likely respond to treatment with a gamma-secretase inhibitor or another Notch inhibiting agent. The same markers may be used in the classification of patients being treated with other Notch inhibitors. The methods may further comprise providing diagnostic, prognostic, or predictive information based on the classifying step. The methods may further comprise selecting a treatment based on the classifying step.
