摘要： A substantially noiseless fastening system for a carrying pack (10) includes a flap (22) attached to the shell (12) of the carrying pack (10) along one edge of the flap, a fastener button (32) attached to the flap near a second edge of the flap (22) , and a button receiver (36) attached to the shell. The button receiver (36) has a tapered interference fit slot (37) terminating in a notch (39) for receiving the fastener button (32), the slot (37) narrowing towards the edge of the flap attached to the shell. The fastening system also includes a pouch (18) attached to the shell (12), a locking channel (42) attached to the pouch, and a locking groove (44) attached to the shell. The pouch (18) has an edge that forms an opening between the pouch and the shell, and the locking channel (42) engages the locking groove (44) in an interference fit to close the opening. In addition, the fastening system includes a first strap (16) having a first end and a second end the first end attached to the shell, a second strap having a first end and a second end, the first end attached to the shell, a first fastener (52) attached to the first strap, and a noise retarding material coating at least part of the surface to the tangs. The first fastener (56) fastens the first strap to the second strap by receiving the second fastener.

A locking plate (52) extends upwardly from the central leg (28) of the fixed part with a section extending interiorly thereof. The locking plate (52) forms a space between the locking plate and the remainder of the fixed part. The interior leg (44) of the movable part has a height greater than the height of the locking plate (52) and a diameter slightly greater than the space between the locking plate (52) and the remainder of the fixed part (14).

The clip device comprises a clip body with a first slot formed in the clip body and a second slot formed in the clip body substantially parallel to the first slot. A cross member divides the first slot from the second slot. A faceplate substantially parallel to the cross member is formed in the clip body with the faceplate having a substantially planar front face surface and a rear face surface. A finger extends from the front face surface with the finger curling back toward the front face surface. An opening is formed through the faceplate wherein upon positioning of the front face surfaces of two adjacent clip bodies together, the finger is releasably receivable within the opening formed in the front faceplate.

摘要： A locking means for a fixing band of diving mask which can fasten or release the fixing band as a fastening member to which one end of the fixing band is connected is inserted into or removed from a mask frame by one action. The locking means comprises two main portions: holders provided at the both sides of a mask frame integrally formed with a face fitting member of the diving mask, and fastening member formed in a taper shape, having three triangle pawls integrally formed with the fastening member. The three triangle pawls are so arranged as to become higher in order, so that the fastening member be gradually tightened owing to the triangle pawls as the fastening member is moved forwards. The locking means in accordance with this invention is particularly useful in a fixing band of a diving mask.

摘要： A buckle is disclosed, particularly for use in conjunction with belts, straps and the like. The buckle includes two mating parts which lock together upon insertion of a male member into a female member. The male member is generally rectangular in shape and has a slotted end suitable for receiving a belt or strap. The body of the male member includes a projecting portion extending at an angle from the plane of the body. The projecting portion is capable of movement about its point of attachment to the body. The female member is generally rectangular, and includes a slot therein for receiving the male piece. The slot is defined by a pair of opposing surfaces which the projecting portion can snap behind upon insertion. An opening is provided in the female member to allow the user to apply pressure to the projecting portion and remove the male member therefrom. A lip is provided to prevent the projection from slipping. A second opening is provided in the female member for the insertion of a belt or strap.
