    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an additive-free fermented extract from aloe vera having good keeping quality even without using an additive in relation to the fermented extract from the aloe vera made from the aloe vera as a main raw material and a method for producing the fermented extract. SOLUTION: An aloe vera raw material having enhanced freshness retaining effects and antimicrobial actions by using functional water having far infrared effects and antimicrobial effects is mixed with a liquid juice prepared by adding yeast fungi to at least one kind of a tropical fruit, a subtropical fruit or vegetables and fermenting the resultant mixture to promote the fermentation of the aloe vera and raise the sugar content. The resultant mixture is then mixed with a fermented extract from a plant, stabilized and completed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently obtaining a disaccharide-degrading enzyme inhibitor from Ipomoea aquatica Forsk, and to provide a food or a beverage or a medicine containing the disaccharide-degrading enzyme inhibitor obtained by the method. SOLUTION: This method for producing disaccharide-degrading enzyme inhibitor comprises extracting Ipomoea aquatica Forsk with a mixed solution of a lower alcohol with water containing 20 to 100 vol.% lower alcohol, absorbing the extract into an aromatic synthetic absorbent and then collecting an elution component with 20-40% mixed solution of the lower alcohol with water from the aromatic synthetic absorbent.
