    • An LED light source assembly for signage illumination includes one or more planar LED arrays located with respect to a light spreading system for uniformly distributing light onto a viewing surface. The light spreading system includes a plurality of reflectors in combination with a transverse deflector disposed directly above and in the light emanating path of a planar LED array. The transverse deflector is oriented angularly and projects at least a portion of light onto a lateral reflector of the light spreading system. In one embodiment, a heat dissipation fixture is supported external to a housing assembly for improved heat management. The LED arrays and the plurality of reflectors and transverse deflectors are affixed directly to the heat dissipation fixture.

    • An illumination apparatus includes a LED assembly having a plurality of LED modules and a substrate. Each LED module includes an anode and a cathode. The substrate is generally planar and defined by a first side and a second side with the LED modules extending from the first side. The second side is defined by a heat dissipation surface, and wherein the first side is opposite the second side. The apparatus also includes a heat sink having a plurality of fins for heat dissipation. A heat input surface portion of the heat sink is bonded to the heat dissipation surface of the LED assembly. The apparatus further includes a control system for supplying electrical energy to the LED assembly, wherein the electrical energy is pulse width modulated.

    • The invention provides a mechanism for dispensing items such as medication. The mechanism includes a carousel assembly, housing a plurality of storage compartments, which sits within a tray base. The tray base only allows one compartment to be opened at a time. The carousel assembly is associated with a motor which rotates the carousel assembly so that a requested storage compartment is accessible by a user. After the user has retrieved the item or items from the storage compartment, a trigger mechanism signals the motor to rotate the carousel assembly to automatically close the storage compartment so that others can not access the contents and to secure the contents.
