摘要： A method of storing a film having an active film material includes providing a carrier film and at least one strip of the active film material, positioning the at least one strip with respect to the carrier film; and rolling the at least one strip and carrier film together such that the at least one strip is isolated at least along its two major surfaces from the environment while the carrier film and the film with the active film material are in a rolled condition. The present invention also includes a roll of film including a carrier film, and at least one strip of active film material isolated from the environment.

摘要： This invention is a self-welding packaging film made by blending at least two ethylene polymers, one of the polymers having a melt flow substantially greater than any of the other polymers in the blend, and thereafter extruding a film from the blend. The film may be self-supporting or it may be an inner layer in a multi-ply film. Preferred ethylene polymers for the blend are the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers wherein one copolymer has a melt flow of less than 5.0 and the other has a melt flow greater than 28.0.

摘要： A heat shrinkable multi-layer packaging film having a layer of a hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. Preferably, the film is formed by coextruding the hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer between two other polymeric layers, at least one of which is cross-linkable, and thereafter irradiating and orienting the multi-layer structure. The resulting film is heat shrinkable and has very low oxygen permeability.

摘要： A packaging cushion is disclosed for supporting and protecting objects during shipment. The cushion has upper and lower surfaces and one or more compartments for supporting the objects in positions so that the objects are higher than the lower surfaces of the cushions. The cushions may include upper and lower nodes which increase the separation distance between the objects when the cushions are stacked one on top of another. The cushions may be held in a stack by an outer box, or by wrapping the stack of cushions in a protective film, eliminating the need for an outer box.
