    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bamboo brush with which a writing and a picture with a unique interest and taste can be easily drawn by using it instead of a hair-pencil brush, and a method for manufacturing it. SOLUTION: The bamboo brush is manufactured by a method comprising washing bamboo roots 10 with required length and thickness with water, drying them for a required time, baking lightly the surfaces, removing charred parts, cutting them into a required length, coating the surfaces with a beautifying/moistureproof agent, cutting the apexes of the bamboo roots into a hair-pencil brush-like shape to make a conically peaked writing part 12, and penetrating a plurality of through-holes 14 for absorbing an ink on diameter lines on the periphery of the bamboo roots adjoining the hair-pencil-like conical writing part.     • There is provided a magnetic separation purifying apparatus capable of favorably separating a magnetic substance irrespective of fluctuation of a water surface in a magnetic separation part to thereby stably discharge high density sludge.
