    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a format of a dynamic patterning device into consideration in such a manner that pattern data is not restricted by a parameter which is necessary in a static patterning device environment, and unnecessary in a dynamic patterning device environment in a system and method for generating patterning data used by the dynamic patterning device.
      SOLUTION: The method and system are characterized in that (a) a pattern data set based on a reticle pattern is received, in that (b) the pattern data set is modified by a parameter corresponding to the format of dynamic pattern generator used for a patterning of radiation beam, in that (c) a pattern is formed by the dynamic pattern generator using a modified pattern data set, in that (d) the radiation beam is patternized by the dynamic pattern generator having the pattern generated in the above-mentioned step (c), and in that (e) a patternized beam is projected to a target portion of object.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for measuring refractive index of a sample, using surface plasmon resonance.
      SOLUTION: This system comprises a light emitting diode; a 1st reference fiber which receives beam from the light-emitting diode and not to be in contact with the sample; a sensing fiber; an additional reference fiber; a 1st detector for sensing outputs from both the 1st reference fiber and the additional reference fiber; and a 2nd detector for sensing output from the sensing fiber. Each fiber of the sensing fiber has a plasmon sensor of differential shape each other, contacts the sample, and receives beam from the light-emitting diode. Each fiber of the additional reference fiber has a plasmon sensor of the shape, suitable for the one associated with the sensing fiber, and each additional reference fiber receives beam from this light-emitting diode. Any additional reference fiber will not contact the sample.
