    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover which can be used together with a synthetic resin protective tube to be fit around a wire and which can be easily attached to and detached from a wire supporting part of a suspension insulator. SOLUTION: Each of synthetic resin cover bodies 1, 2, where flat plates 4, 4 are coupled with each other in a manner that they can turn via a hinge part 3, is provided with a joint edge part 5 with an almost U-shaped cross section, which is located to face the center part of the flat plate 4 and to be opposite to the hinge part 3 and projecting to be joined with the tip portion of the protective tube, and sleeve parts 6 for receiving the fixed collar side of the wire supporting part of the suspension insulator on both sides of the joint edge part 5 and continuously from base parts 5a. On the flat plate 4 facing the joint edge part 5, a supporting part 7 is provided in a standing manner for supporting the wire supporting part from downwardly when the sleeve parts 6 of the cover bodies 1, 2 facing each other are joined. In each of the sleeve parts 6, a pocket half part 6a is formed, which will be a pocket part for receiving the fixed collar side of the wire supporting part when the sleeve parts 6, 6 facing each other are joined. Between both back faces 6a of the sleeve parts to be joined with each other, stopping parts 8, 9 for maintaining the joined condition are formed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, rapidly expand a diameter of an excavating hole of a base rock, a concrete board or the like. SOLUTION: The excavating hole diameter expanding device comprises axial bolt inserting holes 13a, 13b provided at eccentric positions of symmetrical semicircular plates, a pair of semicircular plates 11a, 11b having bits 14b or the like provided at edges of a chord of each semicircular plate and butted in a disc shape to form a bit disc 10 in such a manner that the disc 10 is sandwiched between a lower end face of a tube 1 and a holding disc 15, axial bolts 18 are inserted into the inserting holes and the disc 10 is rotatably mounted between a lower end face of the tube and the holding disc. In this case, the tube 1 is engaged within the hole of a concrete wall to rotate the disc 10 so that both the semicircular plates are deviated from each other and the bit is extended out of the periphery of the disc so as to scrape the inner periphery of the hole to expand the insiside diameter of the excavating hole to form a large-diameter part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which prevents rainwater, dusts and snow from staying on a wire and prevents birds from perching on a wire. SOLUTION: A bird-proof pipe consists of a wire cover cylinder 1, composed of semicylinders 2 and 3 coupled into a cylinder. One side edges of the semicylinders 2 and 3 are linked with each other with a hinge linking part. Retaining plate edge parts 8 and 9 are provided on the other side edges. Long holes 6 are formed in the walls of the semicylinders. Coupling connection parts 12 and 15 are provided on both ends of the semicylinders. Wire circumferential sliding protrusions 7 for turning the inner circumferential surface around the wire are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the wire cover cylinder 1. A number of plastic protruding needles 20 are made to protrude on the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder 1. A number of protruding needles 20 and the rotation of the cylinder 1 around the wire prevent birds from perching on the wire. If snow accumulates on the cylinder 1, the cylinder 1 is turned around the wire to make the snow fall off. Rainwater and dust penetrating into the cylinder 1 are made to fall out of the cylinder through the long holes 6.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid for a U-shaped side trench along a rail way wherein the weight is adjusted to be light at the time of carrying and, after installation, is adjusted so as not to move and not to be blown off at the time of train passing, and cracks and breaks are not generated. SOLUTION: A large number of hollow rib parts 6 are arranged in a lid member 1 formed of synthetic resin, and hollow parts 7 to be filled with weight adjusting member are formed. Vent holes 8 penetrating the lid member 1 are arranged. At the time of carrying, the inside of the lid member 1 is made hollow, and the weight is reduced. The weight of the lid member 1 mounted on a side trench is increased by putting the weight adjusting member in the hollow parts 7 of the inside, so that the lid member 1 is not blown off by wind pressure at the time of train passing. When the lid upper surface side turns to a vacuum state just after train passing, levitation of the lid is prevented by continuously connecting the lid upper surface side to the air pressure in the side trench on the lower surface side, through the vent holes 8.

As a result the cable pipe group which is laid inside an excavated groove is wrapped and covered with the integral body to surround cable and pipe and it is possible to prevent the outflow of soil and said in the gap between the cable pipes.
