CONSTITUTION: The article is produced by a process comprising the steps of: preparing the starch foam by heating, extruding, and foaming a composition containing starch, wherein the composition contains 5-30% of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.1-5% of calcium carbonate, 0.1-5% of sorbitol, 0.3-2% of ethylene vinyl acetate, 0.2-2% of malic acid, and 0.1-2% of sodium bicarbonate, based on the weight of starch; adding 0.5-10%(based on the weight of the starch foam) of the adhesion mixture to the starch foam, wherein the adhesion mixture comprises 0.1-5% of a hot-melt adhesion such as polyamide, polyester, or polyethylene, 0.5-3% of a rosin, and 0.05-2% of starch powder, based on the weight of the starch foam; injecting the starch foam with the adhesion mixture into a mold(10) and heating and pressing, wherein the mold(10) contains a casing(14) having a hole for inletting hot blast or cool air; a hot blast type heater connected with a compressor; teflon coated on the inner wall of the mold.
