摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for cetacean order living being that detects the existence and the direction of a cetacean order living being, such as whale and dolphin, specifies the kind of living being, and displays the kind name.
SOLUTION: The waveform information on ultrasonic wave issued from a cetacean order living being is disposed as a database for each kind of the living being, an ultrasonic microphone is disposed, the waveform information on the received ultrasonic wave is collated with the database, and the existence of the cetacean order living being is detected by the existence of the match of the collation. An ultrasonic microphone having directivity is employed, and the direction where the cetacean order living being as a transmitting source of the ultrasonic wave exists is specified. The item of the kind of the name of the cetacean order living being is included in the database, and the kind of the name of the matched living being is also output as a collation result.
