    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently create a superstrong wheat line.
      SOLUTION: The method for creating the superstrong wheat line comprises (a) a step for collecting wheat seeds from a wheat variety having at least either one of 5+10 high-molecular weight glutenin subunit and 42kD low-molecular weight glutenin or a wheat line using a mating parent as the line, (b) a step for separating the high-molecular weight glutenin of wheat seed protein with sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS)-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and separating the low-molecular weight glutenin with two-dimensional electrophoresis, (c) a step for selecting a wheat line obtained by collecting wheat seed in which at least either one of 5+10 high-molecular weight glutenin subunit or 42 kD low-molecular weight glutenin is recognized in a separation pattern of gluten on each gel and (d) a step for obtaining the superstrong wheat line in the posterity by self-propagating the selected wheat line or mating the selected wheat line with other wheat variety or line.
