    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of reducing power losses, and demonstrating excellent durability.SOLUTION: In the compressor, a seal surface 27a, a recessed groove 273, a receiving surface 27b, and a supporting surface 27d are formed on a valve plate 27. The seal surface 27a is flush with a fixed surface 271, and annularly abutted on a back surface 292 of a valve part 295 around a discharge port 23b. The recessed groove 273 is recessed from the fixed surface 271 outside the seal surface 27a, and both edges of the valve part 295 are separated from its bottom part. The receiving surface 27b is flush with the fixed surface 271, and abutted on a back surface 292 of a fore end area of the valve part 295. The supporting surface 27d is flush with the fixed surface 271, and abutted on the back surface 292 of a center area of the valve part 295. An extension part 272 extending so as to divide the discharge port 23b into two sections is formed on the valve plate 27. The supporting surface 27d is formed on the extension part 272.
