    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorhexidine gluconate formulation sterilized by radiation exposure, a disinfection kit comprising the chlorhexidine gluconate formulation, and a method of sterilization.SOLUTION: There is provided a chlorhexidine gluconate formulation that comprises chlorhexidine gluconate, water, and at least one additive selected from the group consisting of benzoic acid or its salt, parahydroxybenzoic acid ester, salicylic acid or its salt, salicylic acid ester, potassium iodide, ammonium chloride, aspartic acid or its salt, glutamic acid or its salt, arginine or its salt, sodium hydrogensulfate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, gluconic acid, tocopherol acetate ester and phenoxy ethanol, and it is sterilized by radiation exposure. There are also provided a disinfection kit comprising the chlorhexidine gluconate formulation, and a method of sterilization comprising the step of radiation exposure.
