摘要： An apparatus for imaging a tooth having a light source with a first spectral range and a second spectral range. A polarizing beamsplitter (18) light having a first polarization state toward the tooth and directs light from the tooth having a second polarization state along a return path toward a sensor (68), wherein the first and second polarization states are orthogonal. A first lens (22) in the return path directs image-bearing light from the tooth, through the polarizing beamsplitter (18), toward the sensor (68), and obtains image data from the redirected portion of the light having the second polarization state. A long-pass filter ( 15) in the return path attenuates light in the second spectral range. Control logic enables the sensor to obtain either the reflectance image or the fluorescence image.

摘要： A mobile radiography apparatus has a portable transport frame. A sectioned vertical column mounted on the frame defines a vertical axis and has a base section having a fixed vertical position relative to the vertical axis and at least one movable section that is translatable to a variable vertical position. A boom apparatus supports an x-ray source and extends outward from the movable section and has an adjustable height relative to the vertical axis. A counterweight is operatively coupled to the boom apparatus to support displacement of the boom apparatus to any of a plurality of vertical positions along the movable section, wherein the counterweight, in cooperation with boom apparatus movement, travels along a shaft that extends within the movable section, wherein, at one or more of the height positions of the boom apparatus, a portion of the counterweight extends upward above the shaft of the sectioned vertical column.

摘要： A tunable spectral filtration device comprises at least one optical filter for intersecting a first path of converging or diverging light comprising an axis at a first angle of incidence and at least one device positioned to enable a second path of the converging or diverging light to pass through the at least one optical filter at a second angle of incidence. The optical filter comprises at least one coating and is tillable over a plurality of angles with respect to the axis. The first angle of incidence is opposite in sign to the second angle of incidence, such that the positioning of the at least one optical filter and the at least one device substantially cancels angle-of-incidence dependent spectral broadening and/or polarization dependent spectral broadening of the converging or diverging light.
