摘要： A pressurized aeration tank for use in an activated sludge sewage treatment process, comprises an inner barrel with an axial flow impeller mounted within it. The impeller is driven at a peripheral speed of 8 to 15m/s and has aerofoil shaped blades. The ratio of the inside dia. of the barrel(d) to the outside dia.(da) of the impeller is less than or equal to 1.01. The pressure within the tank is 2 to 5kg/sq.cm G. The tank is used in conjunction with a flotation separator tank and an activated sludge tank. The activated sludge is used in substantial concn. and aerobic microorganisms, mostly of the opercularia group, are used.

摘要： A pressurized aeration tank is provided which comprises an inner barrel arranged on the tank axis and an axial-flow impeller of optimum characteristics mounted therein, the inner barrel and the outer barrel or body portion of the tank being particularly proportioned and arranged relative to each other to define in the tank a circuitous flow passage of minimal total resistance loss. With this tank structure, a highly improved plant efficiency of BOD removal is readily obtainable with the use of concentrated activated sludge and aerobic microorganisms, mainly of the Opercularia group, in a specified range of tank pressure.

摘要： A novel apparatus for vertically conveying bulk materials is provided which includes a vertical belt conveyor comprised of two endless conveyor belts guided to travel upwardly along a substantially vertical plane in a face-to-face overlapping relation to each other and a highspeed bulk projector for packing bulk material into between the opposing faces of the two conveyor belts, utilizing the momentum of the bulk material per se. The two conveyor belts are guided at the bottom so as to turn round in directions opposite to each other in substantially symmetrical fashion and bulk material is projected rapidly under the effect of centrifugal force to the bottom belt junction where the two conveyor belts come to join each other. The conveying apparatus, with its highspeed bulk projector combined with a rotary bucket wheel type bulk feeder, forms a vertical bulk delivering apparatus which is compact and highly versatile. In combination with an appropriate movable support frame, the delivering apparatus is advantageously usable as a delivering unit of a vertical bulk delivering system for a bulk storing yard or for unloading bulk cargo which is operable in the yard or cargo hold to deliver the bulk cargo vertically upward with particular efficiency.

摘要： Prior art removal of SO2 from off-gases by passing mixt. into an absorbent slurry contg. alkali earth cpd. is now modified by using a slurry contg. additionally an alkali metal sulphate. Opt. additives are MnCl2 MnSO4, Mn(NO3)2, FeCl3, Fe2(SO4)2, Fe(NO3)3 and process can be multistage with stage 1 having pH is not >4.5 and oxidizing and stage 2 with pH >4.5. Efficiency of SO2 removal is increased by alkali metal sulphate and a lower conc. of alkali earth cpd. can be used. Effective oxidn. of SO2 to S(VI) in presence of Fe(III) or Mn(II) salts gives a gypsum byprod. of high purity.

摘要： In a method for controlling a winch of a mining machinery, the direction of operating a winch and speed thereof are controlled by changing the position of a control element of a fluid pump for supplying a fluid into a fluid pressure recirculating circuit, by means of a device incorporating the fluid pressure recirculating circuit and a control circuit. The method is characterized by the steps of feeding ON/OFF signals for giving an instruction of a position of a control element to a bi-polar pulse generator; feeding pulses from the bi-polar pulse generator to a reversible BCD counter by pressing any of push buttons; comprising a voltage generated via a D/A converting circuit from the reversible BCD counter with a voltage generated from a potentiometer coupled to the control element according to a position of the control element to be selected, thereby controlling the instruction of the position of the control element; and setting a speed of the winch by the number of pressing any of the push buttons.
