摘要： This invention is concerned with water-soluble film-forming inorganic compounds having a specific gravity of 1.1 or more and capable of being formed into a film at ordinary temperature or by heating, said compound being formed by a reaction of a metal, a mineral acid compound capable of hydrating accompanied by the dissociation of boric acid or hydrofluoric acid, and an alkali metal, wherein in water or a solution of said mineral acid compound, said metal in solid state reacts with a concentrated solution of said alkali metal, and then said mineral acid compound takes part in the reaction, while reaction temperature is controlled within a temperature range of 50 DEG C to 100 DEG C. The invention also relates to fireproof and heat-resistance layered composites made of metal, wood, and the like with the above-mentioned water-soluble film-forming inorganic compound as adhesive or coating, or in combination with other fastening means.

摘要： Water-soluble film-forming inorganic compounds having a specific gravity of 1.1 or more and capable of being formed into a film at ambient temperature or by heating. The compounds are formed by a reaction of a metal, a hydroxide of an alkali metal, and hydrofluoric acid or boric acid and their salts or their submineral acid salts. The watersoluble film-forming inorganic compounds which are superior in refractory, heat-resistance and heat-insulating properties, also have rust-inhibitory properties. The compounds are useful as heat-resistant adhesives in fireproof and heat-resistant layered composites made of metal, wood, and the like. A process of coating materials with a layer of these compounds is also provided.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a fire-resistant, heat-insulating self-adhesive material in flexible sheet form, widely used for, e.g. a fire resistant covering material, a fireproof partition material, a curtain wall backup material, and a smokeproof material; a composite material made from the self-adhesive material; and a fire-resistant, fireproof structure. CONSTITUTION:A fire-resistant, heat-insulating self-adhesive material in flexible sheet form made by adding a polyvalent metal and/or a compound containing alcohol groups to an aqueous silanol salt having a siloxane skeleton to cause gelation to form a sheet. In forming the gel, a water-retentive solidifying agent capable of removing water by absorption is added to enhance the tackiness; a powder which has water of crystallization or forms a refractory material when heated is added and also the sheet is covered with an organic or inorganic cloth to improve the heat resistance and the sheet strength. Further, the self-adhesive material may be covered with a plastic film to impart heat retaining properties and releasability, combined with a fire-resistant, heat-insulating blanket, paper, a plate, a metal foil, an inorganic plate, etc., to form a composite plate, and embossed to impart extensibility so that vibration- damping and soundproofing functions are imparted by using the embossed sheet as the core material. Also, the self-adhesive material or the composite material is applied to a structure to give a fire-resistant, fireproof, heat-insulating structure.
