摘要： PURPOSE: To replace a corrosion-proof anode without removing a bearing housing from a gear housing by fixing the corrosion-proof anode to the bearing housing for supporting a propeller shaft within the gear housing by a fixing means through a mounting bracket. CONSTITUTION: A stern driving device 10 as marine propulsion device including an internal combustion engine 12 loaded within a boat 14 has a pivotal housing 66 provided on a gimbal ring 54 capable of pivoting around a steering shaft 56 in such a manner as to be capable of pivoting around an inclined axial center 68, and a gear housing 96 fixed to the rear end part thereof. A propeller shaft 138 is supported by a lower gear housing 109 in the lower part of the gear housing 96. A corrosion-proof anode 128 is arranged between the hollow lower part 110 of the lower gear housing 109 and a bearing housing 112 for supporting the propeller shaft 138. The corrosion-proof anode 128 is fixed by a bolt 132 together with a circular mounting bracket 130 fitted to the bearing housing 112.
