    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems to be generated when exhaust gas from a cement kiln, or the like is treated by making effective use of an organic resource such as sewage sludge or livestock farming waste while promoting the utilization of a biomass resource. SOLUTION: The organic resource is decomposed by a wet oxidation method and the decomposed organic resource is subjected to anaerobic methane fermentation to remove the generated ammonia. A metallic component containing phosphorus is removed from the ammonia-removed organic resource. The metallic component-removed organic resource is burned oxidatively by a wet catalytic oxidation method while recovering the generated heat. The heat to be generated when the organic resource is decomposed by the wet oxidation method can be used for raising the temperature of the metallic component-removed organic resource. The metallic component-removed organic resource can be added directly to a wet catalytic oxidation process. The above removed ammonia is used as a denitrating agent when combustion exhaust gas is treated and the recovered heat is used for raising the temperature of combustion exhaust gas so that NOx in combustion exhaust gas can be decreased by using a catalyst apparatus. In the concrete, water is mixed forcibly with gypsum dihydrate, to which the calcium-containing dust is then added to obtain the slurry being the mixed solution of the calcium-containing dust, water and gypsum dihydrate, the water-soluble component of the calcium-containing dust is dissolved in the water and then the water containing the water-soluble component is removed. It is suitable that water, gypsum dihydrate and the calcium-containing dust are mixed forcibly with one another, the water-soluble component of the calcium-containing dust is dissolved in the water and then the water containing the water-soluble component is removed.

      SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 or the like for sorting materials based on specific gravity includes: a cleaning device 3 for washing away a powder content P on the surface of minerals M; a liquefying tank 4 for forming a mixed layer of sand S and water W; hydraulic cylinders 5, 6 for liquefying the mixed layer by applying vibrations to the liquefying tank 4; and a sorting means for sorting minerals having different specific gravities based on a position in the vertical direction of minerals M' in the liquefied mixed layer. Among the minerals, a low specific gravity mineral L floats on the surface or near the surface of the liquefying tank, a high specific gravity mineral H precipitates on the lower side of the liquefying tank and, therefore, both the minerals can be sorted. A foreign matter/moisture adjustment device 7 of an external circulation type for removing foreign matter F from the liquefied mixed layer and replenishing sand S and water W is disposed and, thereby, a sorted mineral having little amount of foreign matter can be obtained. The quality of the sorted mineral is detemined and, based on a deviation from a target value of the determined quality, the frequency or oscillation strength of vibration by means of the hydraulic cylinder, motor or the like and the mixing ratio of sand and water can be adjusted.
