    • A development apparatus according to an embodiment includes a development tank which accommodates developer containing toner and carrier, an agitating screw which agitates and transports the developer in the development tank, and a development roller which is provided close to or in contact with a photosensitive body and visualizes an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body. The toner and the carrier are externally replenished to the development tank, and excess developer in the development tank is discharged through a developer discharge outlet to outside of the development container. In the development container, the development apparatus further includes a flow regulating member for regulating a flow of the developer. The flow regulating member is provided facing the developer discharge outlet and extending vertically upward with respect to a bottom plane of the development tank.

    • An electronic device includes a housing that has a bottom surface and a side surface and includes an opening for air cooling formed therein; and a substrate that has a heat generating component mounted on a surface thereof facing the bottom surface of the housing and is fixed in the housing such that there is space between the substrate and the opening. The electronic device further includes a heat radiation component that contacts the heat generating component on the substrate and that spreads, between the bottom surface of the housing and the substrate, through the space, and to a position near and inside the opening; and a fan that is disposed in the space and fixed in the housing independently of the substrate so as to perform air cooling using the opening.

    • The present invention is a plasma display panel in which a plurality of pairs of display electrodes extending in a row direction are disposed on a surface of a first substrate and a plurality of discharge cells are formed along each pair of display electrodes, wherein, at least within each discharge cell, each display electrode of the pair of display electrodes comprises a bus line and a band-shaped electrode member that is electrically connected to the bus line, the band-shaped electrode member extending in the row direction and being disposed at least mainly on a same side of the bus line as a gap between the pair of display electrodes, and each band-shaped electrode member has at least one cut-out formed from a gap-side edge towards the bus line, each cut-out having a length that is shorter than a distance between the gap-side edge and the bus line. When the plasma display panel is driven, peaks in electric field intensity are respectively formed in the discharge cell in regions of the electrode member on both sides of the cut-outs. Here, The display electrodes can be constructed from bus lines and transparent electrodes both extending in the row direction, and the band-shaped electrode member can be a transparent electrode.
