    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument/panel for an automobile having function for assisting work that a driver performs at a driver's seat when necessary and being stored when unnecessary.
      SOLUTION: The instrument/panel (5) has a utility/tray (20) pivotally movably connected to its central part. A first recessed part (26) upwardly directed when it is positioned at a development position and at least one opening (23, 24) for retaining a drinking container are provided on the utility/tray (20). Depth of the recessed part (13) positioned at an upper surface part of the instrument/panel (5) is set such that the drinking container placed in the opening (23, 24) can be downwardly stretched by a short distance in which the opening (23, 24) is brought into contact with a surface of the recession part (13) of the instrument/panel (5) when the utility/tray (20) is positioned at the storage position so as to allow the drinking container to be supported by the utility/tray (20) even when the utility/tray (20) is positioned at the storage position.

      SOLUTION: The one-way clutch comprises a cam plate 300 including a cam arranged with a spacing reserved in the angle direction around the center axis and a rocker plate 320 including pockets arranged with a spacing reserved in the angle direction around the center axis. Each pocket 322 includes a first recessed surface 324 having a center inside the pocket and admitting passage of the rotary shaft through the center. Each pocket 322 stores a rocker 340 including a first convex surface 342 arranged complementarily with the first recessed surface 324 and surrounded partially with the first recessed surface 324. Each of spring members 327 supported by the rocker plate 320 energizes the rocker 340 around the rotary shaft toward the cam plate 300.

Rocker placed in each pocket rotates round the rotary axis in such a way as approaching the cam surface and then separating from the cam surface. The rocker has a center of mass and is arranged relative to the rotary shaft so that the acute angle formed between the first line extending in the radial direction upon passing the rotary shaft from the center axis and the second line passing the center of mass and the rotary shaft is 20 degs. or less when the rocker separates from the cam surface and retreats into the pocket.
