    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of easily and reliably deploying a bonnet when a pedestrian is collided therewith at low cost. SOLUTION: When a bonnet 14 is raised by a release actuator 18 in a collision with a pedestrian, a latch claw 26 is moved to its releasing position, and a release actuator 32 is arranged so as to move a releasing member 27 so as to retain the latch claw at the position. Each release actuator 32 is retained by a spring clip 37 mounted on one end of a release tape 38 with the other end being connected to one of a lift actuator 18. The release tape 38 is hidden below the bonnet 14. However, when the bonnet 13 is moved to the deployed position by the lift actuator 18, the release tape 38 is seen from the outside, and drawn to release the clip 37.
