    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air suspension capable of adjusting a spring rate of an air spring by adjusting a pressure action volume of the air spring applied to the air suspension. SOLUTION: The electronic control suspension device is provided with the air suspension having a volume enlargement unit connected to a pressure action space so as to enlarge the pressure action volume of the air spring and a volume adjustment valve for opening/closing the connection state between the pressure action space and the volume enlargement unit; a mode change switch for applying a mode setting key signal according to button operation of a driver; an electronic control unit for outputting a valve control signal for indicating a suspension characteristic of a vehicle in response to the mode setting key signal of the mode change switch; and an air spring volume adjustment part for forcedly setting the suspension characteristic of the vehicle by adjusting the spring rate of the air spring as in an already set range by opening/closing the volume adjustment valve according to the valve control signal.     • PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of comfortableness to drive in a manual mode by constituting not to set a damping force to the maximum value in the manual mode and to control the damping force in response to the running state in an automatic mode, in the captioned controller variable damping force im multistages for a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Mode selecting signals 25, 26, a vehicle speed 14, a steering angle 17, a throttle angle 19, a control signal 20, a shift lever positioning signal 23 are inputted to a microcomputer 29. A manual mode and an automatic mode are determined by the combination of the mode selecting signals 25, 26 as shown in the table 1. In the normal fixing of the manual mode, a damping force of each absorber is set to the minimum value through each actuator, and in the spot fixing, the damping force is set to an intermediate value. In the normal base of the automatic mode, the damping force is set to the value between the minimum value and maximum value, in response to the signal from each sensor, and in the spot base, the damping force is set to the value between the intermediate value and maximum value. By this constitution, it is possible to prevent the lowering of comfortableness to drive without being set to the maximum damping force in the manual mode.

A ball screw mechanism 30 is connected to the output shaft of a servounit 29 installed onto a chassis side, and said mechanism 30 is connected to a lever 28 through a link 31. Therefore, camber can be varied by revolving the servomotor unit 29 normally and reversely.
