摘要： A balance weight is formed into a columnar shape to extend in an axial direction of a spoke connecting a wheel hub and a rim of a spoke wheel, has an insertion recess extending over its entire axial length to open in its outer periphery, and is secured by crimping to the spoke to surround the spoke inserted into the insertion recess. A reduced section having a decreased outer diameter is provided on the balance weight at an end facing toward the wheel hub. Thus, the balance weights can be mounted to the adjacent spokes of the spoke wheel without interference therebetween.

Thus, the components of the rotation transmitting assembly are distributed on the base plate and the top panel.

摘要： A recording and/or reproducing apparatus for a magneto optical recording medium housed within a disc cartridge includes a casing, a recording and/or reproducing unit, a transporting unit and a driving unit. The casing includes an opening for introducing and ejecting the disc cartridge. The recording and/or reproducing unit includes a magnetic head for applying a perpendicular magnetic field on the magneto-optical recording medium and is housed within the casing. The transporting unit loads the disc cartridge inserted via the opening on the recording and/or reproducing unit. The transporting unit includes a holding section for holding the inserted disc cartridge and a pair of cam members for moving the holding section in the horizontal direction in the casing and in the vertical direction in the casing in continuation to the movement in the horizontal direction. The driving unit causes the cam members to be moved in the horizontal direction in the casing. The cam members are moved in a first direction as a result of insertion of the disc cartridge and set the driving unit into operating states as a result of insertion of the disc cartridge. The cam members cause the holding section to be moved in the horizontal direction by a movement of the cam members in a second horizontal direction consecutive to the movement in the first horizontal direction by the driving unit. The cam members cause the holding section to be loaded on the recording and/or reproducing unit by a movement of the cam members in a third horizontal direction consecutive to the movement in the second horizontal direction by the driving unit.

The apparatus also includes disc presence/absence detection mechanism for detecting whether or not there is a disc on the sub-tray pulled out by the transfer means from the housing unit. The control means controls the operation of the lift means based on an output of the disc presence/absence detection means.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a hose having an expanded portion and a compression formed portion, including making the expanded portion and the compression formed portion integral and almost simultaneously. The manufacturing process is simple and easy, and the number of manufacturing steps is reduced and the cost can be reduced. The process forms the expanded portion and the compression formed portion from a tube. A rigid, middle core member is inserted into at least one end portion of the tube. This structure is then mounted between mold sections which have an expanded interior cavity when closed. The mold sections are then closed and the end between the middle core member and the opposing inner surface of the mold sections are compressed and formed. After that, the tube is expanded in the mold to conform the tube to the cavity surface by introducing pressurized fluid into the interior of the tube. The conformed tube is removed from the mold sections as a hose with expanded and compression formed portions.
