摘要： A composition suitable for tantalum chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP) comprises an abrasive, an organic oxidizer, and a liquid carrier therefor. The organic oxidizer has a standard redox potential (E0) of not more than about 0.5 V relative to a standard hydrogen electrode. The oxidized form comprises at least one pi-conjugated ring, which includes at least one heteroatom directly attached to the ring. The heteroatom can be a N, O, S or a combination thereof. In a method embodiment, a CMP composition comprising an abrasive, and organic oxidizer having an E0 of not more than about 0.7 V relative to a standard hydrogen electrode, and a liquid carrier therefor, is utilized to polish a tantalum-containing surface of a substrate, by abrading the surface of the substrate with the composition, preferably with the aid of a polishing pad.

摘要： A mechanistic model was developed to extract meaningful thermodynamic and kinetic parameters from an irreversibly denatured process. As a result, methods and computer apparatus have been created that can be used to mathematically determine parameters that are predictive of aggregation kinetics of biologically active materials. Those parameters can then be used to predict stability or aggregation kinetics as a function of time and temperature.

The low modulus elastomer provides the mechanical robustness and reliability by relieving the stresses generated; and the metallurgically-bonded micron-sized metal particles and nano-sized metal particles provide a continuous conducting path with minimized interface resistance. Addition of nano-sized metal particles lowers the fusion temperature and allows the metallurgical-bonding to occur at manageable temperatures.

摘要： Persistent files stored in non-XIP flash memory are accessed during operation of an electronic device. During execution of application code on the device, the persistent files are accessed using an access directory such as a look-up table. The access directory provides information that allows an application or other software code running on the processor of the device to locate and access a persistent file within a non-XIP flash memory device where the non-XIP flash memory device may include bad blocks. During creation of the access directory, locations of the bad blocks in the device are identified and recorded. Files are accessed from the non-XIP flash memory device by reading from file start locations identified in the access directory while accounting for bad blocks identified in the bad block data of the access directory.
