    • PURPOSE: To apply heat treatment to a wire material by stably running the same without generating the interlacing, by winding the wire material around a rotary wind-up drum while restricting the same at the beginning and subsequently allowing said wire material to laterally move on the rotary wind-up drum at the same running speed without restricting the same.
      CONSTITUTION: To the periphery of a wind-up drum main body 4 provided with a slight taper of a rotary wind-up drum for applying heat treatment to a wire material in a heat treatment furnace while winding up and running the same, taper correction members 5 each arranged so as to provide a constant distance (l) from the center P of the wind-up drum and taper correction members 6 each arranged so as to satisfy formulae represented by the above mentioned distance l

      2 in a delivery side 2b 1 are alternately arranged and fixed at almost equal intervals in plural sets and the wind-up barrel part is constituted at the top surfaces of both members 5, 6. The wound-in wire materials is wound around the polygonal body formed of the correction members 5, 6 in the wind-in side 2a while receiving the restriction in running and contacted with the polygonal body formed only of the correction members 5 in the delivery side 2b and laterally moves on the above-mentioned wind- up barrel part at the same running speed without receiving restriction and interlacing.

    • PURPOSE:To perform efficient and automatic quick spheroidizing heat treatment of plural steel bars having a large diameter and a specified length by performing all the operations for feeding successively the steel bars from a feed chute to an induction heating furnace, heating the same to a prescribed temp., taking the bars from the furnace, and supplying the same to an isothermally holding device by means of timers. CONSTITUTION:Many steel bars 19 on a feed chute 3 are put by each piece into a coil-shaped quick induction type heater 5 by the 1st pusher 2. The bars 19 are heated to 800 deg.C in the heater 5 and are pushed out by the succeeding bars so as to be moved onto a chain conveyor 8 until the bars stop moving by contacting with a stop plate 9. The bars are transferred by the 2nd pusher onto a steel bar receiving and transferring part 11 where an open/shut door 16 is opened and are stored in an isothermally holding device 13. The steel bars are held at 700 deg.C in said device and are subjected to a softening heat treatment by spheroidization. The above-mentioned operations are automatically accomplished by means of timers T1-T4. Thus, the quick softening heat treatment of many steel bars is efficiently accomplished.
