    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arc-welding a steel sheet with which even in the case of welding at high speed, sufficient bead width can be secured.
      SOLUTION: A gas-sealed arc-welding method is used under condition, in which the steel sheet containing 0.20-2% Si and 1-2.5% Mn so as to satisfy (the steel sheet [Si]+the steel sheet [Mn]≥1.5) and further, ≤0.002% O and ≤0.3% Ti and a solid wire containing 0.20-1.0% Si, 1.1-1.8% Mn, ≤0.20% Ti, ≤0.1% Al and ≤0.1% Bi are used so as to satisfy (the steel sheet [Si]×2+ the wire[Si]≥0.70, the steel sheet [Mn]+ the wire[Mn]≥2.2 and the steel sheet [Si]×2+ the wire[Si]+ the steel sheet [Mn]+ the wire[Mn]+ the steel sheet [Ti]×2+ the wire[Ti]×2+ the steel sheet[Al]×2+ the wire[Al]×2+ the wire[Bi]×2

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently control fluctuations in quality by means of online control with minimal computed load by finishing hot rolling in an austenitic single phase region and controlling the cooling, after rolling, so that the optimum coiling temp., computed from the amount of residual strain at the Ae3 point, is reached. SOLUTION: Hot rolling is finished in an austenitic single phase region. The optimum coiling temp., capable of providing the desired qugllty, is computed from the amount of residual strain in austenite at the A3 point (the A3 point in an equilibrium state) of the resultant steel plate, and the cooling after rolling is controlled so that coiling temp. becomes the optimum coiling temp. As to the computing of coiling temp., the optimum coiling temp. CT can be computed from equation CT=CT0 +(ε-ε0 )a/b when (ε) represents the amount of residual strain in austenite at the Ae3 point, (a) and (b) represent the rate of increase in tensile strength with respect to (ε) and the rate of reduction in tensile strength with respect to coiling temp., respectively, and respective desired values (the values capable of providing the desired quality, such as strength, when maintained at fixed values) of the amount of residual strain and the coiling temp. are represented by ε0 and CT0 , respectively.
