    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission mechanism for preventing a PTO on/off lever from being erroneously operated to ON while a worker facing forward runs rearward with a steering wheel positioned rearward and stopping a traveling by automatically returning also a main shift lever from a backward traveling to a neutral when the steering wheel is shifted from a forward to a backward position with the PTO turned on while the worker facing backward runs rearward with the steering wheel positioned forward. SOLUTION: A limiting rod 52 is installed between the rotating base part of the main shift lever 33 and a PTO on/off arm 55, and the limiting rod 52 is suspended from the PTO on/off arm 55 when the steering wheel 32 is positioned at a rear side and projected through a cutout 55b provided in the PTO on/off arm 55 when the PTO is OFF. The transfer of the PTO on/off arm 55 from PTO OFF to PTO ON is suppressed by the tip part of the limiting rod 52. When the steering wheel is shifted from forward to backward with PTO turned ON while the worker facing backward runs rearward, the PTO on/off arm 55 returns the main shift lever 33 from the rearward to the neutral.
