The conical planetary roller 60 is engaged with the ring roller 58 by virtue of friction. The conical planetary roller 60 can be rotated around an axial line of a roller axis. The sun roller 64 is engaged with the conical planetary roller 60 by virtue of friction. The roller carrier 62 supports both ends of the roller axis of the conical planetary roller 60. The roller carrier 62 can be moved together with the conical planetary roller 60 along a prescribed axis.

    • PURPOSE: To make the best use of magnetic force and thereby smoothly change speeds from input rotation at the side of an engine to output rotation at the side of a driven shaft for power transmission, by letting a side of a top-cut conical driven pulley rotate a main driving pulley together in axial parallelism, while making the main driving pulley have a relative positional relationship movable along the said one side.
      CONSTITUTION: A main driving shaft 2 having a spiral groove 10 is connected to an input part 1 at the side of an engine and pushes a main driving pulley 4 being inserted into both of a spring 3 and the main driving shaft forward all the time. A driven pulley 5 is shaped in a top-cut cone whose wider side in diameter is of low side and narrow side is of top side in structure. A surface of the top-cut conical driven pulley 5 is interspersed with a lot of cylindrical magnetic sensitive bodies 11 in its insulating member. In addition, the main driving pulley 4 is composed of each magnetic body having a trapezoidal section which is insulated with one another, and collectively formed in a radial manner, and made up with a male screw in order to screw a shaft in a central core part. The driven pulley 5 is little in rotation as its starting motion is at a low side A, then gradually turns to a top side C speedier in rotation whereby it contacts the main driving pulley 4 for magnetic coupling.

CONSTITUTION:Each of feeders 6 and 7 being made up to mixing soft metallic powder of lead, zinc or the like with thermosetting resins such as plastics being moldable below the melting point of the said powder, for example, thermoplastic resins including nylon resin or the like or phenol resin otherwise, is pressed to the circumferential rolling surface of a ring 5 under pressure. With this constitution, when each of cones 1 and 2 and the ring 5 rotate, the soft metallic powder as a main component for these feeders 6 and 7 is transferred to the circumferential rolling surface of the ring 5 from these feeders 6 and 7, and power is transmitted via the transferred soft metallic powder at the contact part between these cones 1 and 2 and the ring 5 so that a traction factor can be taken to be large without producing any friction between these cones 1, and 2 and the ring 5, thus miniaturization in a device comes possible to be done.

    • PURPOSE:To enable to reverse rotation of an output shaft and improve durability of cones and a ring, by combining a planet gear mechanism with a friction transferring mechanism consisting of 2 cones, positioned in the same direction and having outer sides parallel to each ther, and a single common ring. CONSTITUTION:Cones 2 and 3 are rotatably supported to an input shaft 1 in a manner that the axis center of the cone is slanted against the input shaft 1 and the outer sides of the cones are parallel to the axis center of the input shaft 1, and a fixed ring 4 circumscribed about the cones 2 and 3 is positioned movably in the direction of the axis of the input shaft 1. Pinions 7 and 8 are mounted to support shafts 5 and 6 of the cones 2 and 3, first and second ring gears 9 engage the pinions 7 and 8, and a second ring gear 13 and a sun gear 12 mounted to the input shaft 1 are coupled to an output shaft 11 through a planet gear mechanism 10. Thus, the movement of the fixed ring 4 permits reversing of the rotating direction of the output shaft 11 irrespective of the rotating direction of the input shaft 1.

    • PURPOSE:To enable reversing of rotation of an output shaft and to improve durability of cones and a ring, by combining a planet gear mechanism with a friction transferring device consisting of 2 cones, positioned in the opposite direction to each other and having the outer sides parallel to each other, and a single common ring. CONSTITUTION:Two cones 2 and 3 are positioned in the opposite direction to each other, and the geometrical position relation of the two cones 2 and 3 to a fixed ring 4 is symmetrical about the direction of an axis through movement of the fixed ring 4. Through the working of each planet mechanism 11, this arrangement has no relation with the direction of input rotation, and an output shaft 12 is reversely rotatable. The movement of the fixed ring 4 brings a speed ratio No/Ni to a positive or a negative valve, and the rotating direction of the output shaft 12 is also brought to a positive or a negative value. In case the fixed ring 4 makes contact with the small size part of the one cone 2, it makes contact with the large size part of the other cone 3, whereby a total sum of the contact areas between the fixed ring 4 and the two cones 2 and 3 is kept constant irrespective of the position of the fixed ring 4 i.e. the speed ratio No/Ni.
