摘要： There are disclosed a foamable composition which comprises (A) a vinyl chloride resin, (B) an inorganic substance containing inorganic fibers of not less that 1 .mu.m diameter, (C) a solvent having properties such that when a mixture, which is composed of 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin of average polymerization degree of 2400, 100 parts by weight of the solvent, and 6 parts by weight of dibasic lead stearate, is kneaded using a plastograph at 30 rpm while raising the temperature it exhibits a maximum torque of 4 to 25 N.m on the kneader, and (D) a decomposition-type blowing agent; and a process for preparing such; a rigid, foamed article made therefrom; and a process for preparing such article. Since the rigid, foamed article of the invention does not contain asbestos, it is not injurious to human safety and health. It has very low amounts of emitted heat, smoke, and noxious gas on burning; is deformed only a very small amount on burning; is excellent in dimensional stability and heat resistance in use at high temperatures; causes little turning to white ash even on forced burning, and is of low cost.

摘要： A foamed article of a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin containing an inorganic material, which contains an inorganic fibrous material in an amount of not less than 0.003 g per 1 cm.sup.3 of the article or inorganic particles in an amount of not less than 0.06 g per 1 cm.sup.3 of the article and which has dimensional retention of not less than 70% when the article is heated at 200.degree. C. for one hour and an expansion ratio of not less than 5 times, which is prepared by the process comprising the steps of (1) preparing a foamable composition by kneading a mixture comprising a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin, an inorganic material, a chemical blowing agent and a solvent, (2) filling a closable mold with the foamable composition, (3) heating the foamable composition under pressure in the mold to generate a gelled chlorinated vinyl chloride resin and to decompose said chemical blowing agent, (4) cooling the foamable composition in the mold to a temperature suitable for expansion, and (5) opening the mold to give a foamed article. The foamed article has excellent dimensional retention at high temperatures as well as excellent mechanical property and shows little calorie, smoke and poison gas.

摘要： Pellets of a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin composition comprising inorganic materials, a solvent and a blowing agent; a pre-expanded particle of a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin comprising inorganic materials and a solvent and a process for preparing the pre-expanded particle of the chlorinated vinyl chloride resin containing inorganic materials which comprises kneading a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin, inorganic materials and a solvent, pelletizing the kneaded mixture impregnating a physical blowing agent into the resulting pellets and pre-expanding the pellets. The present invention makes it possible to be contained a large amount of inorganic materials in a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin by forming a uniform gel phase of the chlorinated vinyl chloride resin and the solvent and wrapping inorganic materials in the gel phase. A foamed article produced by employing pre-expanded particles of the chlorinated vinyl chloride resin containing inorganic materials has an excellent heat resistance, i.e. the foamed article generates little heat, produces little smoke and little poison gas and is hardly strained and cracked at burning, and further, has a large dimensional stability.

摘要： A method of producing acrylic resin for use as a film and having reduced tendency to stress whitening and acrylic resins produced by such method. An elastomer is prepared by copolymerizing a cross-linking monomer with a monomer mixture comprising a major proportion of acrylic acid alkyl ester containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and having gel content of more than 60%, degree of swelling of less than 15 and mean particle size of 500 to 2000 A. A resin component comprising a major proportion of methacrylic acid alkyl ester containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group is graft polymerized to a degree of grafting of over 30% in an emulsion of the elastomer to produce the desired resin.

摘要： In measuring pattern with large process fluctuation, correct measurement cannot be carried out if noises, such as pattern that is not the subject to be measured, and dirt, are present in periphery of pattern to be measured in previously registered measurement region. Among the image data of sample, predetermined region aligned by pattern matching is set as region not to be measured that is excluded from subjects of pattern measurement. For example, in measuring pattern with large process fluctuation, only region including pattern with small process fluctuation is used in pattern matching, while in measuring the pattern, predetermined region, which was used in pattern matching and aligned, is set as region not to be measured. Stable pattern measurement can be easily carried out with respect to pattern with large process fluctuation, without being affected by region where measurement region and region not to be measured overlap with each other.
