SOLUTION: When accepting the designation of first and second retrieval object words in a character string being the object of retrieval from a user, a retrieval character string language analyzing part 25 analyzes the syntax and role information on semantic meaning of each of words constituting a character string. A retrieval formula generation part 26 generates a retrieval formula including the syntax and role information on semantic meaning corresponding to the first retrieval object word and the second retrieval object word. A database retrieval part 27 retrieves example data including the words constituting the sentence registered in an example database 28 and the syntax and role information on meaning of each word in the sentence by using the retrieval formula.
