    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a switch detecting movement of a part moved in switching of valve drive and thereby to maintain high detection accuracy, in an internal combustion engine with a variable valve train.
      SOLUTION: A switch 100 detecting movement of a rocker arm shaft 14 is pressed or released according to the movement of the rocker arm shaft 14. The switch 100 is disposed so that a pressing direction thereof is orthogonal to a moving direction of the rocker arm shaft 14, and a sensing shaft 98 pressing the switch 100 is continuously disposed to the rocker arm shaft 14. A switch pressing face (outer tapered face 99e) inclined with respect to the moving direction of the rocker arm shaft 14 is disposed to the sensing shaft 98.
