    • An electronic device includes a first chassis, a second chassis, and at least one flexible circuit extending therebetween. The first chassis is oriented along a first axis and comprises at least one first microprocessor. The second chassis is oriented along a second axis and comprises at least one power generating component. The flexible circuit comprises a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is connectable to the first chassis and the second end is connectable to the second chassis. The first chassis is movable relative to the second chassis between a position wherein the first axis is substantially perpendicular to the second axis and a position wherein the first axis is substantially parallel to the second axis.

    • Architecture that translates a complex dimensional hierarchy (e.g., XBRL) into an understandable member picker which removes the complexities that the user would otherwise have to face. Using a building block metaphor, the architecture provides element and dimension tagging. The building blocks can include rows, columns, and optional trees. Building blocks are selected and grouped into a report definition, which definition is utilized to retrieve and process basis data into fact data in the final reports. The reporter mechanism removes the complexities in both the XBRL standard and XML, and ensures that the user associates the information appropriately within the report definition. The architecture extends the building block metaphor to include dimension tagging. A portion of the information from each building block is used to produce a fully qualified dimension context and logical validation is performed to ensure accuracy.

    • The system and method provides an NDT inspector with a realistic simulation of inspecting a test piece while injecting virtual flaws for display on an NDT instrument, while also presenting actual flaws to the inspector. A conventional NDT test probe and instrument are connected to the system at the probe leads interface. The system provides means for monitoring probe position and probe liftoff, means for storing virtual flaw signals and associated locations on a test piece, and means for providing a virtual flaw signal to the NDT instrumentation to simulate the response of the actual probe. The invention provides for nondestructive test method qualification and probability of detection determination, for establishing and maintaining nondestructive testing proficiency of inspectors, for periodically presenting flaw signals to inspectors during routine inspections, and for ensuring sufficient scan coverage for detection of material defects in a test piece.
