摘要： A system having an alternating current (AC) driven LED unit (16), an AC voltage regulator (14), and a controller (13) is provided. The AC driven LED unit includes a first LED (162) and a second LED (164) coupled in reverse parallel. The AC voltage regulator is operable to receive AC voltage originating from an AC voltage source (12), regulate the AC voltage according to control signals (136) from the controller, and apply regulated AC voltage to the AC driven LED unit, so as to enable the first LED and the second LED to emit light according to the regulated AC voltage. In addition, a method is provided for driving the LED by regulating the AC voltage. By regulating the AC voltage using the AC voltage regulator, benefits of restraining voltage fluctuations, reducing THD, improving power factor, providing dimming control, and mitigating flicker phenomenon can be achieved.

摘要： Disclosed is an ethylene-based polymer with a density from about 0.90 to about 0.94 in grams per cubic centimeter, with a molecular weight distribution (M w /M n ) from about 2 to about 30, a melt index (I 2 ) from about 0.1 to about 50 grams per 10 minutes, and further comprising sulfur from about 5 to about 4000 parts per million. The amount of sulfur is also determined based upon the total weight of the ethylene-based polymer. Also disclosed is process for making an ethylene-based polymer which includes the steps of splitting a process fluid for delivery into a tubular reactor; feeding an upstream process feed stream into a first reaction zone and at least one downstream process feed stream into at least one other reaction zone, where the process fluid has an average velocity of at least 10 meters per second; and initiating a free-radical polymerization reaction.

摘要： The present invention provides a system and method for providing enhanced features for streaming video-on-demand systems. The system comprises a media server and a client player, wherein a user can select a desired video for transmission from the media server to the client player for subsequent display for the user via the client player. The system comprises a mechanism that enables a user to interactively select a desired new starting point for the display of the selected video signal. The mechanism is provided by a first and second series of searchable index frames, wherein the first series is generated by the media server during transmission of the selected video signal and the second series is generated by the client player during receipt of the selected video signal. Upon receipt by the client player of the desired new starting point, the first or second series are accessed in order to identify a required searchable index frame that best represents the desired new starting point. Display of the video by the client player subsequently commences from the required searchable index frame.
