摘要： A detonation producing toy device utilizes air pressure. The device has a gun body in which an air pump, a seal body and a rolling mechanism are disposed. The air pump is integrated with the seal body. An elongate strip of rubber film from the rolling mechanism is pressed between the seal body and a gunpoint which is at one end of the gun body. As a trigger of the device is fired, compressed air from the pump causes the film to expand outwards till it bursts, and at the same time detonation is produced. This interesting device is easy to operate, with simple structure, great safety and vivid vocal effect.

摘要： A device includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced from the first electrode to define a volume. An anion exchange membrane and a cation exchange membrane are disposed within the volume. A controller controls a supply of electrical current from an electrical source to the first electrode and to the second electrode. The electrical current supply is controlled to switch from a first mode of operation to a second mode of operation providing electrical current having a reverse polarity during each cycle. The electrical current is supplied at a controlled cycle rate and for a controlled duration. The cycle rate is greater than about 100 hertz and less than about 10 kilohertz.

摘要： A system having an alternating current (AC) driven LED unit (16), an AC voltage regulator (14), and a controller (13) is provided. The AC driven LED unit includes a first LED (162) and a second LED (164) coupled in reverse parallel. The AC voltage regulator is operable to receive AC voltage originating from an AC voltage source (12), regulate the AC voltage according to control signals (136) from the controller, and apply regulated AC voltage to the AC driven LED unit, so as to enable the first LED and the second LED to emit light according to the regulated AC voltage. In addition, a method is provided for driving the LED by regulating the AC voltage. By regulating the AC voltage using the AC voltage regulator, benefits of restraining voltage fluctuations, reducing THD, improving power factor, providing dimming control, and mitigating flicker phenomenon can be achieved.
