    • A blind type solar cell assembly has a blind structure to serve not only as a light shading plate but also as a light collecting device. The solar cell assembly comprises a plurality of solar cells, each being formed by stacking an electrode layer and a semiconductor layer, such that the solar cells are disposed on an outer surface of a blind member having an elongated plate shape, and electrically connected in parallel or in series with each other. A blind type solar cell array comprises a plurality of blind members connected with each other via two or more connection strings, solar cells respectively disposed on outer surfaces of the blind members so as to be electrically connected in parallel or in series with each other, and an electric wire to electrically connect the solar cells disposed on the blind members with each other in series or in parallel.

    • An encryption and decryption apparatus includes a round key generator generating at least one round key for iterative operations in each of a plurality of rounds using an input key for one of the encryption and decryption; an initial round key adder receiving a plurality of divided parts of an input data, consecutively receiving a plurality of parts of an initial round key which is output from the round key generator for an initial round and corresponds to each of the divided input data, and adding the input data and the corresponding part of the initial round key; a first operator receiving a first data which is output from the initial round key adder and a part of the round key which is output from the round key generator and performing operations for one of the encryption and decryption; a second operator receiving a second data which is output from the initial round key adder and another part of the round key which is output from the round key generator, and performing operations for one of the encryption and decryption; and a register part temporarily storing the first data which is output from the first operator and the second data which is output from the second operator, inputting the first and second data to the first and second operators, respectively, for operations of a next round among the plurality of the rounds, and outputting an encrypted or decrypted data when the plurality of the rounds are completed.

    • A semiconductor device with a gate spacer containing a conductive layer, and a manufacturing method. A first spacer insulation layer is formed on a semiconductor substrate where a gate electrode is formed. Then, the first spacer insulation layer is etched to cover the side walls of the gate electrode. A conductive spacer film is subsequently formed on the resultant structure and is over-etched to form a conductive spacer that covers the first spacer insulation layer. In this step, the gate electrode is partially consumed to make the top of the first spacer insulation layer higher than the gate electrode. Also, an upper portion of the first spacer insulation layer is not comparatively etched due to an etching selectivity. This structure avoids shorts between the conductive spacer and the gate electrode. A second spacer insulation layer is then formed on the conductive spacer. As a result, degradation of characteristics of the semiconductor device, due to hot electrons trapped within a gate insulation layer and a spacer area, can be suppressed. Also, the silicide layer can be formed on the gate electrode, thereby increasing the operational speed of the semiconductor device.

    • This invention relates to a refrigerator having an air distribution apparatus in which the temperature distribution throughout the whole volume of a compartment is maintained in uniform by evenly dispersing the evaporated cool air, and it achieves concentrated refrigeration on a specified area of the compartment requiring a special refrigeration by controlling the discharging direction and quantity of the evaporated cool air. The refrigerator comprises a body 4 partitioned into a freezing compartment 2 and a refrigerating compartment 3; an evaporator 12 disposed in the body 4; and an air distribution apparatus 17 disposed on one wall of the refrigerating compartment 3. The air distribution apparatus 17 further is comprised with a first air passage 18 for guiding the flow of the cool air generated from the evaporator 12; a second air passage 15 having a first duct 35 and a second duct 36 which are arranged in a longitudinal direction at both longitudinal edges for guiding the down-flow of the cool air through the first air passage 18; a plurality of openings 16 disposed between the first duct 35 and said second duct 36 for discharging the air along the second air passage 15 into the refrigerating compartment 3. The air distribution apparatus 17 furthermore is comprised with a plurality of openings 16 for discharging into the refrigerating compartment 3, in an up-down and right-left direction, the cool air guided by the second air passage 15 formed in a longitudinal direction; a swing-wing 26 rotatably disposed thereat for controlling the air discharging direction through the opening 16; and a driving motor 28 for rotating the swing-wing 26.
