摘要： The present invention is generally directed to a process for making fabrics containing cotton fibers more aesthetically pleasing and resistant to staining by anionic dyes by derivatising the cotton so that it exhibits a permanent anionic charge. By increasing the anionic charge of the fibers, the fibers become resistant to anionic coloring agents which may undesirably come into contact with the fibers. Furthermore, the negative charges repel each other resulting in a fabric with greater loft and porosity. This results in greater smoothness, better hand, and more comfort. Besides being used to prevent the cross-staining of fabrics, the present invention can also be used to make carpet materials resistant to anionic staining agents. Alternatively, it has also been discovered that an anionic derivative can be used to catalyze permanent press resins onto fabrics containing cellulosic fibers, also resulting in anionic cotton.

摘要： The present invention simplifies the complicated dyeing process using a naphthol dye, and provides a modified regenerated cellulose fiber which enables dyeing in different colors by combining the modified regenerated cellulose fiber and other fibers by means of mixed spinning or union knitting/weaving. A modified regenerated cellulose fiber can be obtained by containing 0.5-3.0% by weight of a grounder of naphthol dye to the regenerated cellulose fiber in a matrix consisting of the regenerated cellulose fiber, wherein the grounder is selected from the group having a medium to high level of affinity to the regenerated cellulose fiber. A variety of dyed fiber products can be obtained by treating yarn or knitted/woven fabric made of the above modified regenerated cellulose fiber with a developer of naphthol dye.

摘要： In an existing isothermal dyeing process, the alkali required for dye fixation is added to the neutral dyebath under linear or progressive program control. In this process, the amount of alkali added per unit time is small at the beginning and is increased progressively and in accordance with a program. This process passes through a certain (non-controlable) initial phase until the start of dye fixation on the cellulose. As a consequence the rate of fixation passes through a maximum before gradually decreasing when the final state of the dyeing is reached. To shorten the initial phase (waiting time) of dye fixation and to slow down dye fixation during the steepest part, it has proved advantageous according to the invention to add the alkali in accordance with a parabolic program.
