    • A railway truck (14) is disclosed for use with a locomotive (10). The railway truck may have a first axle (48) with a first end and an opposing second end, and a second axle with a first end and an opposing second end. The railway truck may also have a plurality of wheels (24) connected to each of the first and second axles, and an equalizer (50) operatively supported by the first and second axles in a vertical direction and constrained relative to the first and second axles in a tractive direction. The railway truck may further have a frame (46), at least one spring (90) located vertically between the equalizer and the frame, and a link (80) pivotally connected between the frame and the equalizer and configured to transfer tractive forces between the frame and the equalizer.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circuit for grounding to a track with a simple construction by a method, wherein an annular conductor is provided on a wheel so as to have the shaft cores of the conductor and the wheel agree with each other to ground the conductor through the wheel, and a contactor which is brought into electrical contact with the conductor is provided on a wheel shaft. SOLUTION: Both ends of a rotor 6 of which a drive motor consists are fixed to wheels 7, respectively. A grounding ring 11 is attached to the journal box 9 side surface of one of the wheels 7. A grounding means is composed of the ground ring 11 and a contractor, i.e., a brush 14, which is so provided as to face the grounding ring 11. The brush 14 is pressed against the grounding ring 11 from a wheel shaft 8 which is a fixed shaft by a spring 13. An electric circuit 15 which is pulled outside is connected to the brush 14. As the contact surface of the grounding ring 11 which is brought into contact with the brush 14 faces upward in the lower part of the ring 11, and hence foreign substances may adhere to its sliding surface. In order to prevent the foreign substances from adhering, a dust-proof cover 16 is provided.

    • PURPOSE:To secure the stable curve travel of a travelling truck by connecting the right and left wheels of the travelling truck to each other by arms, and forming such wheel structure that the wheels on one side are supported rotatably in the right and left directions by the frame of the travelling truck, whereas the wheels on the other side follow the wheels on one side. CONSTITUTION:In a travelling truck provided with driving wheels 2, 2 and driven wheels 3, 3 with motors 2a connected to a chassis 10, the driving wheels 2 and driven wheels 3 disposed on the right and left sides of the chassis 10 are disposed at arms 11 respectively with a gap L between two rails R. Each driving wheel 2 is supported rotatably in the right and left directions by the chassis 10 through a bearing 13 provided at the supporting part 12 of the driving wheel 2. A roller 3a is rotatably supported above the driven wheel 3, and the driven wheel 3 is supported by the chassis 10 through this roller 3a. A plate 10a is further provided at a contact face between the roller 3a and the chassis 10 so as to minimize the rotational resistance of the roller 3a.
